Sewn and crafted by hand, all of Tamsin's pieces of work will be in use for years, probably generations. With exceptional quality and an artistic eye for detail, her work is both unique and practical, robust yet refined. Here are her current designs:
Hand-made in Tamsin's studio on The Blackdown Hills in Somerset.
Living lightly on her own land in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the magic of such is sewn into every bag giving each piece a depth of character and soul that is hard to find elsewhere.
It is a passion for the forgotten arts that has led Tamsin to a career in both heavy horses and leather work.
All items are named after old English occupational titles or,
(as women folk were at the time so rarely employed) popular Christian names of the same era.
Both hark back to a time when much was still made by hand from natural materials, combined with the skill and loving care of an artisan, a far cry from today's mass produced equivalent.
Each piece is hand-made to order, so no two bags are the same.
The current designs may be subject to change. Please feel free to check her other social network sites for frequent updates.
